You… a Hypnotic “Smooth Operator”?
I don’t know about you, but when I started learning hypnosis, I was always a little intimidated by how “smooth” my mentors were.
They could string hypnotic language together like pearls on a thread – never missing a beat, drawing their subjects into a deep trance and then working amazing changes while keeping the words flowing.
When I tried to imagine what it would take for ME to get that skilled- I was often discouraged.
I thought I’d have to spend the next few YEARS memorizing scripts before I could be any “good” at hypnosis.

Hi Igor, what i want to know is how can i stop myself from falling asleep listening to your video’s, i’d love to learn this stuff & help people for a living but without a formal qualification how can i do this for a living, i have helped people by going through the clearing process in part to help them get over a problem that is sticking in there head. I think the cost of these types of programs & my confidence to learn something new is a big stubbling block for me. so the real question is, is there a way of training & then after training pay for a membership to an organisation that is recognised by an orthority to do this stuff as a job.

As usual it is just great and I too hope to be able to go to a live seminar one day. However it is hard now that I am living on Social Security which means I don’t have a lot of free money and I have to plan for everything. One of my friends bought the conversational Hypnosis course but decided he didn’t want to do it and gave it to me but he had lost the manual. I send an e-mail and was told the manual was $100 dollars and unfortunately I can’t get it right now.
Wow! I see this worlds not only make a story flow, but also catch the attention and don’t let it fly away, on plus help to reenforce the central meaning of the message we can pass through. I tried them in different languages and the result is the same. Wonderful, thank you so much for a privilege to be your virtual student.

Another great video the Milton model which uses vague language patterns is designed so that the unconscious/subconscious mind of the subject does the work in helping to solve the problem.
Have you done anything with the Meta Model I would like to see that, where you home in using specific goal directed suggestions.
It looks like I’m a little late to the party, about 6 months late, but thanks for this posting! What fun, and your explanation that “if you don’t feel like you’re standing on the edge, you’re not doing it fast enough” seems to really help make the learning exercise work. Now I’m trouble. I just went to the local coffee shop and said to the barista, “Hey, did you know that {Milton model random sentence made up on the fly, I have no idea even what I said except that I mentioned something about the sky and something about the counter}?”. It seems that the “hey did you know that” (which presupposes this is something one could know) baited the listener into struggling even harder than they normally would to make sense of what I said. After a couple seconds of frozen silence
, she said, “hey… wait… what was that again?”. I missed an opportunity though. Before that “hey… wait…” I should have asked for my change (for the coffee I had not yet paid for).

The script free training video was awesome. Something so simple but yet so effective.
I was leaning towards script free hypnosis after applying Igor’s conversational hypnosis home study program, but after viewing this video and the technique included, clinches it. I will have no need for pre-written scripts any longer.
From now on only Personalized and Custom scripts await for Each and Every client to Experience.
Question; Igor can this same format work customize a personalized induction and perhaps even create a story for the client?

Allow me to pick up on a few themes that are coming through:
1. There are hundreds of ways to express yourself hypnotically. The Milton Model is a powerful and distilled version of these (believe it or not it does not actually encapsulate ALL of the forms Milton Erickson used to express himself… but it is still an awesome model!)
2. The 5 power words are a FUNCTIONAL introduction to the Milton Model. There are many, many more ways it can be expressed and more manoeuvres not covered by these 5 patterns. However, there is no point having a list of 2,000 or even 20 patterns if you cannot DO any of them. So here we focus on just 5. The rest can be acquired with as much ease. In fact, once the first five are down, the rest is REALLY easy!
Those of you with sharp eyes and ears will realise that the 5 Power Words CHANGE each time I teach them!! That is because the specific example is not important, its getting to that natural hypnotic flow that is the absolute key. Once you are GOOD at it, you can engage the conscious mind and learn the labels and all the intricacies buried inside the power words!!
3. Yes you can translate the concept into most languages that I am aware of. At the most BASIC level you are looking for conjunctions – words that cement two parts of a sentence together. It gets more complex than that, but as a simple starting point that will take you a good ways in!
4. The idea is to START with “nonsense content” to get your critical filters out of the way and work on a purely intuitive level with the language. In the next video you’ll find out how to fill the gaps with meaningful stuff!

well done. i attended Igor’s class in a seattle last year and, because it is showing him working in real time, it is so good to refresh with this. Every time I work on this stuff, it means that i am getting a little bit better and that this is becoming even more natural.
And then I had the key to the first door, letting me through to a new world of possibilities, thankyou Igor, where would I be without you, same place probly, just having a better time now.

That was exciting and looking forward to seeing more of your videos because I need help and training every time I approach someone when I am doing a sales presentation because it will hopefully increase sales.
Since my hearing challenges me, having the videos to play and replay until the words are clear is wonderful – and the video enhances beyond just reading ever could (I’m more of a visual learner but seem to also embrace the audio level to really learn).

Hopefully I will get a lot from these video tapes. I have been operating on the money which I have in my pocket which is very limited and being removed before it even reaches me by the de facto government. At present I am receiveing less than half of the amount I retired with.
This morning I had three people who need help to rid themselves of pain. They are talking about going in for operations in the next week.
The Doctors will not guarantee they will be able to remove the pain.
A family has to attend the funeral for his father who recently died of cancer tomorrow in St. Louis. These are all people I would like to be able to help in some way.
I would like to be able to attened your seminar next month but it looks like it will not be because of the bills which I have to pay. I am praying for some money coming in on a wing and a prayer.
Perhaps these video tapes will have to do for a while.

because there are rats in the universe, every time i see one i will say “aww, so cute” when my friend drinks coke and jumps, which means that i like it.
Because I’ve bought other courses from Igor and I enjoy listening to them it means that every time he comes out with a video I’m ready to open my wallet when he brings the product public which means I could go broke when he keeps on coming out with more and more programs because his training is so good and I feel I’m learning so much every time I watch and listen to what he’s doing because he makes it fun and easy to learn every time there’s a new segment and I feel I better stop writing which means this could keep on going on and on and….
Loved the video because it informed not confuse.
Would like to now where, in the induction process, do you use for it for maximum benefit. When I tried using the words on volunteer. They spoke up and said I “sounded like a babbling idiot”. Tried using his response to continue with induction but had to stop because we both couldn’t stop laughing.
Realize now subject must be somewhat into trance prior to using the power words. Sure you can tell by this message I’m just a rookie in this art of hypnosis.
Because Igor, is so masterful and entertaining at what he dose, it means everytime I employ these patterns when I speak, I will now enjoy a high level of success.
No wonder I am always looking out for any e.mails to do with Igor’s work. He is so genuine and dedicated to having the laymen and the professional learn and go forward with hypnosis and to thst end making it so easy to comprehend and absorb what he is saying.
This is a course that hopefully I will be able to entertain purchasing, since so far the confidence to take things a little further has escaped me, and with the above hopefully this would enable me to do so.

a great, practical and an easy way to begin to teach and begin to learn a tiny bit of the Milton Model…and perhaps the key portion, or the basic one, if you say so, while what I lacked in that video was the statement that there’s still much more to learn of the Milton model…which means that this clip might produce a little bit of over simplified approach to the Milton Model, as the listener may begin to believe that these wonderful, great 5 power words are all that there is in the Milton Model, which is no way true, isn’t it?!
Because the information was delivered clearly and with a compelling attitude, it means that I enjoy watching it and everytime I watch it I get better and better. When I get the next video I will be ready because this one was so good and informative it means that everytime I see a message from Igor when online, I get interested.
This is great because it’s very easy to do and something for practicing which means I get more perfect everytime I do this when I want.

Enjoyed the video very much. I heard about words of power before but now they make even more sense. I think the key here is to actually practice the skill until it becomes a habit. Because then you are actually using the words of power and it is so effortless that people will be in a trance every time you speak to them when it becomes a second nature to you.

Will this work ok if I just practice on my imaginary friend?..or does it have to be real people? It is 6am here…too early to ring anyone.
And anyway..I’m sure my friends and family will think I have gone bonkers if I ring them and blurt out the gibberish sentences .. unless I tell them what I am doing and I don’t really want to do that at this early learning stage.
I found that my mind went blank when I did as you said and stood on the edge of the cliff .. I couldn’t find any valid words, I was blurting out gobble goo words that I just made up on the spot and I also noticed I was ryhming them..am I doing this wrong?
As I watch these videos, because I’ve ordered other products and have learned from Igor before, it means that the old lessons and the new lessons get easier and easier every time I’m exposed to these ideas. When that happens I get better and better.

Amazingly enough and unbeknownst to me, I have been using this method for studying for years already, never did it cross my mind that it was an actual science (Milton Model) where hypnotists made tons of money servicing their clients to better their lives. Very Interesting.

I got it memorized over three years ago…It has worked ever since.
The use of these words will cause an individual to go within themselves for meaning, then the overload takes over and the conscious mind, steps aside and lets the subconscious take over, WOW this is what happened when I used these words….WOW
It was interesting, waiting to see the next video. I think that the knowledge can be rightly used to help people get relived of their mental and physical pain. Life would be easier. Thank for the lesson Igor.

I enjoyed the exceise and this means everytime when I’m around people i can practice.
In response to the email: hypnosis is easy; it’s getting the therapy right that can sometimes be difficult.
On this particular clip, excellent exercise but the value of it will depend on how long the wait is before the next segment.
BECAUSE I use a specific email address only for this blog AND I have started to receive spam THIS MEANS that a few fools waste resources EVERY TIME they send spam AND my eyes look at the stars.

When I took my hypnosis training, the teacher limited our hypnosis ability to scripts only. In fact he said stick with the scripts … ..well….unless I forked over another Two Grand for the Master Training.
When I got out into the real world and began my practice… I knew in my heart that this just wasn’t going to cut it, at least not for me anyways. So I have been scouring the internet for nearly a year watching videos and seeking out skills from different Hypnotists.

Great Stuff because I’ve already been practicing and Every time I Use these Power Words I get Better and Better Which Means That When I need them I’ll use them More and More. Thanks Igor and Cliff; I’m waiting for the next Video.

Good infomation. Two of these power words are different from the
conversational hypnosis course. Which means we are able to expand
our range of flowing words, making storytelling a little easier. Igor thanks for working with Cliff to help all of us to get more comfortable
in our skill sets.
Because of structure and flexible processes it means i don’t have to pay attention consciously everytime when i begin to go fast… pushing is a great way to build the trust i have in myself each time and let’s me and the other share because it just happens.
on the edge for other directions … thanks for these.

Excellent drill – Igor shows not only why he is a Master Hypnotist – but a Master Teacher of Hypnosis as well. Any time a person can take something that seems difficult and simplify it for the student – he/she shows a high level of expertise – I am certain as you watch the video and read these posts, because of that you now understand how simple it is to learn and how important it is to have a great teacher when you know you’ve found one!

Hi, I am new to hypnosis but having recently purchased both Igors courses POCH & Secrets of Hypnosis. I just find him so easy to listen to, with a fantastic hypnotic voice. Because of this video and the way it was structured it meant that everytime when I speak to someone I can feel relaxed using the 5 power words.
Because I wateched this video and practiced using the words of power, this means that every time I need to use these phrases they will be available when I want to use them.

Before I watched this video I used to read over the Milton model so many times then I would forget by using Igor’s method I found the key words easy to memorize. Thanks Igor.
